Get ready, Rexburg! If you haven't heard by now, the city of Rexburg and Madison County are bringing an unforgettable America 250 celebration right to our backyard. Mark your calendars for July 3, 2026, because multi-platinum, chart-topping country music artist Russell Dickerson is headlining live at Madison Bobcat Stadium!
Whether you’re a long-time local or simply a college student here during one of your semesters, this community celebration is the perfect chance to gather with family and friends. It's going to be an incredible evening of live music, connection, and fun as Rexburg joins communities across the country in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
“America 250 is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history and celebrate the future of our community,” said Rexburg Mayor Jerry Merrill. “We’re excited to host an event that brings people together in a meaningful and memorable way.”
The July 3rd event will feature a full concert performance by Russell Dickerson, so get ready to sing along to hits like “Yours,” “Blue Tacoma,” and “She Likes It.” You might also recognize his most recent hit, “Happen to Me,” which he performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and on College GameDay last fall!
Of course, it wouldn't be an Independence Day celebration without lighting up the sky. Following the concert, an epic drone light show and fireworks finale will cap off the evening.
