National Popcorn Day is here. What’s better than watching a movie munching on the best popcorn? Nothing. Popcorn is great, no matter what. Its appeal is universal! And the greatest thing about it is that it can be made SO many different ways.
Here are some links to a few examples of popcorn mixtures you’ll have to whip up for National Popcorn Day:
Need I say more? The options are pretty much endless. Since popcorn may be my actual favorite snack (like, ever), I decided to give the following a try.
Chocolate Caramel Popcorn
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is for you. Candied and chocolated. Is that a word? It should be. This popcorn gives you just the right amount of sweet and savory to munch on. But beware, it’s super addicting!
Parmesan Ranch Popcorn
This popcorn is completely underrated. Everyone should know how yummy and simple it is to make. With just a few seasonings, you could discover your new favorite snack. And it’s not that bad for you healthwise, either.
Mexican Popcorn
Did you know popcorn actually originated in Mexico? It makes sense because Mexican food is the best. If you’ve ever been to a street fair or farmer’s market, you’ve probably seen the Mexican street corn on the cob. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, think of that classic “Get that corn outta my face!” scene from “Nacho Libre.”
You could make this delicious popcorn style. What more could you want in life?
“Your-Favorite-Candy-Bar” Popcorn
Coated with melted marshmallows, peanut butter, or whatever floats your boat, this popcorn had better be put in your recipe book. Mix in your favorite candy bar: Butterfinger, Snickers, Twix, or all of the above! Popcorn and your favorite chocolate bar? It’s a blessing in a bowl.
Whether you air pop, microwave pop, or get it pre-popped from Broulim’s, there’s no wrong way to celebrate National Popcorn Day. Get creative, and let us know how you chose to prepare your popcorn today!
