The race, organized by the Sugar-Salem cross country team, will be starting and finishing at Porter Park. You can register for the race here. Registration fees range from $5 to $75 for a family registration. Proceeds and donations go to the Family Crisis Center and the Sugar Salem Cross Country Team.
Turkey Day Tournament: Family-Friendly Dodge Ball
Come to the Gravity Factory Thanksgiving morning from 8:00-12:00 for a family-friendly dodge ball tournament. Each can or non-perishable food item you bring counts as $1.00 toward your entry ticket. There is no limit to the number of cans to bring, so bring in the food and walk right in! All the food and money raised will be given to local families in need, through the Family Crisis Center.
Set the Mood for Gratitude
For over 35 years a celebration of music and special performances has taken place in the Rexburg Tabernacle. This annual program is also on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23. Gwyn Harris directs this Thanksgiving Day Celebration, which includes a choir with six numbers and guest performances. As part of the tradition, there will be a solo organist as well. It is a free event, starting at 10 a.m., just in time to hurry home and put that turkey in the oven!
