During the long winter months in Rexburg, many of our favorite activities are unavailable. But with the weather finally starting to warm up, some of these locations are back in action! This week, Teton Vu Drive-In opened back up for business! The first showing on Wednesday night featured Ready Player One and Tomb Raider.
Teton Vu Drive-In is the perfect place to spend an evening with friends, family, or a significant other. In addition to showing double features for an affordable price, they have a fully stocked kitchen and concessions stand. Menu items include french fries, burgers, mozzarella sticks, candy, soda, and more!
Three Drive-In “Musts”
It’s still kind of chilly here in Rexburg, so you will definitely need a lot of pillows and blankets. Fill your whole car; the more you have the comfier you will be! If you decide to bring chairs to sit outside, bring a sleeping bag to cuddle up in as well!
To save on gas, bring a portable speaker or radio. Instead of having to leave your car on, connect an iPod with radio capabilities to a Bluetooth speaker or download a radio app on your phone.
Try the chicken tender meal from the kitchen at the drive-in. The meal comes with enough food for two and a fountain drink of your choice! Snuggle up and enjoy a classic meal during your movie.

For now, the drive-in will be open mostly on weekends and for premieres of new movies. You can purchase your tickets online. This weekend, Ready Player One and Tomb Raider will be showing. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $1 for kids. The show starts at 8:20 p.m., but you’ll want to get there early to guarantee a good spot! The gates open at 7:20 p.m. and you can pre-order your tickets to bypass the line.
