While we’re a little sad about the closing of the iconic old Rexburg Wendy’s, we’re excited about the future. Many of you may have already seen this, but a member of our staff spotted this sign on their way to work this morning (Tuesday, April 20, 2021):
While we can’t confirm with absolute certainty that this will be the home of the new Wendy’s location in Rexburg, it seems pretty dang likely. If you can’t tell from the photo, the sign is posted in the lot directly across Moody Road (E 2000 N) from Walmart. Check out the Google Maps link below.
As mentioned in our previous article, the old, iconic Wendy’s permanently closed it’s doors on Sunday, April 18th, 2021. All employees have been located to other locations until the new location opens. The location in south Rexburg remains open and offering discounts through the Wendy’s Mobile App.
