A good movie is timeless. It has the ability to both take us back and propel us forward. And on select dates in February, the Romance Theater will be hosting movie nights and showing a few classic films on the big screen.
Back in the day, the Romance Theater was the place to see movies. From silent movies and beyond, the Romance Theater continued to show new movies up through 2001. Nowadays, you can relive some of its glory with not just shows, plays, and concerts, but classic films projected on a big screen.
The schedule for the Romance Theater movie nights for February is as follows:
Monday, Feb. 12 — Annie (1982)
Friday, Feb. 16 — Stuart Edge Magician (not a movie; follow Rexburg City Chamber of Commerce for more follow up info)
Saturday, Feb. 17 — Phantom of the Opera (2004)*
Friday, Feb. 23 — Jurassic Park (1993)
All movie times will be at 6:30 p.m. except *, at 7:00 p.m. Movie tickets are $1.50.
