Day dates are a great way to spend time with someone you are interested in or have been with for years.
Sometimes time doesn’t let you spend a romantic evening together but, don’t worry because here we have great ideas for the perfect day date that everyone can enjoy and can work with anyone’s schedule! Here in Rexburg, there is so much you can do. Depending on the time of year you have a variety of activities to do indoors or outdoors.
First on our list is to go out to lunch.
Most restaurants have great lunch deals that you can take advantage of. If you want to mix it up you can do a progressive lunch and go to different restaurants to get your favorite dishes.
Another spin on a lunch date is to go taco taste testing. Order tacos from a few of your favorite places, take them to a park and together decide which one is best.
If you have a little bit more time, day adventures are always fun.
You can go on a hike, a pretty drive, or go to a shooting range.
Hike R-Mountain as it is close and a relatively short hike. Make sure to bring snacks. Capri sun and Lunchables is a great choice or you can be a little more ambitions with sandwiches you made together before.
There are so many beautiful drives that you can go on. One of my favorites is the drive to Mesa Falls its about 50 minutes away and the falls are definitely worth it! Make sure to bring snacks and a great playlist.
Day dates are great for activities like shooting. You have to go in the daytime and it makes for a fun activity, just make sure to be safe!
If the weather is right, the park can be the perfect setting for your day date.
There is so much you can do at the park. You can get some pizza and fly kites. Pick up some watercolors and paper and create some art together in the park. Mix things up and try to paint a portrait of each other or choose what the other person should paint. Learn a new sport or game together. You can go slacklining, play spike ball, or make up your own game!
