Spring break is a much-needed vacation from the craziness of school and life. It’s important to follow some guidelines so that your spring break doesn’t pass you by. There’s nothing worse than realizing you didn’t do anything you wanted to do when you had the time.
Here are our recommendations on how to take advantage of spring break this year!
Make a list
Creating a list of everything you want to do while you have time is important. This will help you get the most out of the time you have.
Having a list is really great too because if you get bored and you can access it and see what you can start working on. These ideas can be anything, from traveling somewhere or working on your hobby. Maybe you want to start learning how to play the guitar or you want to go swimming. All these activities are things to add to your list!
Plan
Now that you have a list of everything you want to do you can start planning. If you’re traveling somewhere for spring break, plan the details of your trip. Book a hotel if you haven’t yet, make sure friends or family are still onboard, and of course, see what things there are to do when you arrive. If you need to book any activities, now is the time to do it.
Even though you should plan, I’m not saying you need to plan every second or day of your spring break. Take time to relax and be spontaneous. Try to have a general plan if certain activities need to be done on certain days, but definitely don’t be afraid of free time.
Explore for free
Not everything you do on spring break has to cost money. There are tons of things you can do for free while still having fun!
Go camping somewhere nearby. Is everyone talking about a show that you haven’t seen? Sounds like it’s time for a TV marathon! Go hiking, go stargazing, watch the sunrise or sunset, tan in your backyard, take photos and hang out with friends and family. Maybe have a fun day at home by holding a cooking competition using only what you already have in the house.
Fun can be free!
